Since the last posting, my husband and I still reside in TN, enjoying the grandchildren. Hannah will be graduating from high school in '12 and plans to attend TSU in Knoxville. She is a very intelligent and social young lady, as cheerleader, in the National Honor Society, ADK, and Young Life. Her future looks bright and we are very proud of her. We contine with good health and enjoy being outdoors. I have enjoyed looking at the postings and did recognize several classmates.
Good Grief, has it really been 40 years? I married in '62 to a '61 Southwest graduate. We lived in Virginia while he was in the Navy, and had a daughter, Wendi, there in '64. After the Navy, we moved back to Miami where my husband, Tom, worked for FPL and attended college at night (it took 7 long years). Our son, Troy, was born in '70. In '78 we moved to Kingsport, TN where Tom worked for TVA (safety). I worked in the education department of the local hospital. After 5 years we moved to Montrose, CO where Tom worked for the US Bureau of Reclamation and I worked as supervisor for the office services Dept.of Energy. In '94 I retired to help our daughter with our first born grandchild. (Hannah was born on Wendi's birthday.) Tom retired from the government in '97and we moved to Murfreesboro, TN to be near the granddaughter, of course. Tom is working for AGC (again, safety) and I keep busy with the gym, grandchildren (Elijah was born in '00), and landscaping 1 1/2 acres.
