David's original biography is given below

It’s been a busy 50 years. After college, Nancy and I lived in New York where we both worked. When I returned to Miami, I worked for Southeast Mortgage and then was recruited by Lennar Corporation to open their mortgage company. From there I moved to Philadelphia, where I was COO and a partner in Travelers Mortgage Company. I was on the Board of Fanny Mae in Philadelphia and was a pioneer in the development of mortgage backed securities. In those days, they were a new, innovative financial product.

We sold the company to G.E. Capital in 1990 with plans for Nancy and me to retire. We built a beautiful home in the Turks & Caicos that we visited on a regular basis for 10 years. Retirement didn’t last long, we re-launched Nancy Bailey & Associates, after the sale to Warner Bros. and I became CFO. We’ve worked together this past 20+ years, it’s an exciting business. When we sold the company last year, I officially retired.

We love living in the Grove and how convenient it is to so many things. And we love Miami and the world class city it has become. We have no kids, no pets, nothing that eats! We travel a lot and spend our summers in Linville Ridge, North Carolina. I’m fortunate to be a member of some pretty neat Golf Clubs where I’m constantly trying to improve my game!
