Retired Attorney

After Gables in 1962, I accepted an offer from the US Naval Academy to attend their Prep School in Bainbridge, MD where I played football. After 9 mos & 3 days, I decided that the Navy & I would do better without each other. So, I received my Most Honorable Discharge, with my GI & VA benefits, & attended the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business in 1967. I then moved to Boston working for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston days, & attending Evening Law School at Suffolk Univ. After 4 years, with my JD, I moved to San Francisco to work with the Bank of Calif. for 13 years, 2 of which were in Seattle. I moved to Honolulu to get out of the cold weather & have been enjoying HI ever since.

In 1983, I started my own law firm which included representing plaintiffs in Workers' Comp, Personal Injury, & Medical Malpractice. Our firm included my wife, Gaye, & my son, David. We closed our office in 1-1-07, retired, & left Paradise for 6 months of travel to Europe & the East Coast. We have enjoyed retirement immensely. Gaye is a marathoner & swimmer. I jog (more slowly than Gaye), swim with Gaye at the beach daily, golf, & tennis. We enjoy travel, cooking, & reading. We support PBS & NPR.

Our Mini Reunion in Clearwater, FL is now in its third year and will take place the last weekend in October. It is wonderful to re-connect with Gables friends after too many years have come & gone. Please join us, if at all possible.

Best wishes,
Larry and Gaye
