Thank you to the ones who decided to create this site and to the ones who maintain it. It has been so much fun seeing the new pictures appear and wondering who you are! I have yet to guess correctly!
After high school I went to Jackson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. After a year and a half decided that wasn't for me--quit--went to University of Florida--ran out of money--returned to Jackson--graduated. Worked in psychiatry and neonatology--hated it--quit. Went back to school and took all the drafting and art courses I could--loved it--worked for an architect and free lanced drawing house plans--loved it. Taught board drafting,architectural drawing and computer aided drawing at South Florida Community College--totally loved this. Was asked to go into an administrative position with the local workforce board--interesting, tolerable, and where I am now.
Married the first time and finally said--this isn't for me. Married the second time and got it right--Dean and I have been married for 26 years this summer. We have a daughter and a grandson.
I love to paint in the decorative/folk art style, go antiquing, read and work in my yard.
Dean will retire in 3 years after being a United Methodist minister for 40 years and we plan on moving to Lakeland where we will have a home. After 29 years in a parsonage I am really looking forward to a home of my own.
