CAROL CONLAN

Carol passed away in 2003. From The Augusta Chronicle August 6, 2003:
Carol Ann Conlan, age 58, a native of Miami, Fla., recently moved back to Augusta to be with her family during her final year of a long battle with cancer. She entered into rest Saturday, August 2, 2003, surrounded by her daughter and the loving, compassionate staff and volunteers at St. Joseph Hospice. Ms. Conlan was a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, School of Nursing, and completed her Masters Degree in Psychology at Georgia Southern University. She went on to be Lead Nurse in the North Unit at Georgia Regional Hospital where she worked until 1990. Carol loved music and was an accomplished violist and she played two years with the Augusta Symphony Orchestra. Survivors include one daughter, Leslie Graves Alley, Martinez; one son, Joseph Patrick Young, Augusta; four grandchildren, Kaleigh Elise White, William Cody White, "Tripp" Kelley Maddox Alley, III, all of Martinez and Regan Jae Young, of Augusta.
