I've been married to Bill Katz since 1978; we have two children, Dr. Jessica Katz Jameson and Larry Katz. I've worked in the administrations at University of Miami, Miami-Dade College, and Florida International University. I was the first in-house Marketing Director at a major law firm in Florida, and was a consultant in professional services marketing for a dozen years. I've continued my lifelong interest in good causes and political campaign. Bill was Director of Employee Relations at City of Coral Gables for twenty years; he retired in 2001, when we moved to Orlando.

Our daughter is a UM grad, who went on to get her Masters and Ph.D. at Temple University. She's vice chair of her Communication Department at NC State, and specializes in Dispute Resolution. She's presented papers at international conferences in Australia, France and Hungary and has lectured at many national conferences. She's the mom of our grandson, one of the major joys in our lives.

Larry Katz is a member of the Directors Guild; he's worked as an Assistant Director on movies and television series, with a preference for action and stunt directing. Among his more well-known movies are "Live Free or Die Hard," (Bruce Willis) "Pirates of the Caribbean (3)," "Hancock," (Will Smith) "Eagle Eye," and most recently "It's Complicated," Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin.) He's currently on the action unit for "Knight and Day," (Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.) We've had the pleasure of visiting him on the set, and Larry even hired us as extras when he worked on "Desperate Housewives," and "Seventh Heaven."

We've continued to enjoy a very active retirement, including travel, civic involvement and hosting lots of company who come to visit us in Orlando. We even enrolled at University of Central Florida in the LIFE program, and are on campus every week for classes. I'll show you my student card, even if you don't ask!
