After graduating from Florida State University, I was in the United States Navy for 5 years. I was on a destroyer for awhile and then was sent to Argentia, Newfoundland. After I separated from the service, I went to graduate school at the University of Colorado where I got my MBA in Transportation. I have worked for Yellow Freight, now YRC International for 33 years last fall. This work has taken us to Nashville, Tennessee; Mobile, Alabama; New Orleans, Louisiana; and finally to the home office in Overland Park, Kansas.
